Meet the Team

Our Story

The farm has a rich history, dating back to 1920, spanning five generations dedicated to nurturing a variety of livestock and crops harmoniously. While the farm has been home to an array of animals, the dairy cows were the main focus. We milked 65 head up until January 2023; however, a tough decision was made in 2022 to sell the milk cows. Thankfully this transition didn't leave the barn empty. The farm decided to continue raising the heifers alongside a few Angus crosses, marking the beginning of our venture into the beef industry. Now days, the farm is steadily moving towards becoming a fully dedicated beef operation.

It all began at the Cattaraugus County Fair.

In 2010 Anna entered the county fair with her first dairy steer, Poe. From there she was hooked. A total of 9 dairy steers were sold at the county fair over the years. Some shown by friends who did not grow up on a farm but wanted to experience the dairy steer program. Many awards were won but best of all many friends were made.

This fun 4H project turned itself into a business.

Cattle Come First

The Beef Quality Assurance Program is a voluntary program that provides beef producers with continuous science-based education on production practices that prioritize cattle well-being, quality, and safety. BQA programs include best practices around cattle handling, facility management, cattle transportation, good record keeping and protecting herd health.
